This photo collage features a group gathered around a campfire, sharing music and drinks, under a starry night sky. The fire resembles a bright, energetic girl, dancing to the beat of the music. The sky, inspired by Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”, swirls with motion and appears as two eyes, as the universe watches the girl dancing.

Ghost Girl

This image was created as a fun Halloween project. It was difficult to manage the gloomy ambiance in which there is a slight focus on the ghost girl caused by moonlight. The girl is painted so the work combines real images with illustrations. Some of the steps can be seen next to the final image.

A Country View

Created using four different images (a field, a sky, an old can, and a person) this composition was made to simulate a sunset. The photographs used had neutral daytime lighting before being included in the composition.

Stargate

A dark night contrasted by a bright portal was the perfect setting to practice the use of strong lighting and harsh shadows in photo manipulation. Before being used in this composition all the different images had neutral lighting.

Mountain Trip

The idea was to create a foggy, low-light ambiance of a car driving down a mountain road. A couple of images and filter layers were all that were used to create this composition.

The Old Warrior

After a visit to Valencia’s military museum I came up with the idea to create this image as a homage to all the war veterans that fought for their country and are many times forgotten. Instead of using the image of a real man, I simbolized it with an old abandoned crashed fighter.
